Telema is the leading electronic data interchange operator in the Baltics, powering supply chain data flows for major retailers across the region. We've been working together for seven years, but this time we partnered as co-architects to plan their migration to modern cloud infrastructure, helping them transition away from outdated systems while keeping critical data pipelines running smoothly.

We've been working together for seven years, but this time we partnered as co-architects to plan their migration to modern cloud infrastructure, helping them transition away from outdated systems while keeping critical data pipelines running smoothly.

We've been working together for seven years, but this time we partnered as co-architects to plan their migration to modern cloud infrastructure, helping them transition away from outdated systems while keeping critical data pipelines running smoothly.
Our approach.
We spent about 30% of our time analyzing their existing 20-year-old system and designing the new architecture, with the remaining 70% focused on implementation. Rather than taking over their entire codebase, we worked as strategic partners — they handled the Java development in-house while we built out the complete Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure.

Legacy systems that have been core products for many years are complex to change. The challenge was figuring out how to rebuild it to work even better than before while dealing with such massive responsibility and service load that can't afford any downtime.
